​About the Japanese Society for Preservation of Birds

The purpose of this organization is to promote the protection of wild animals, including birds, and to contribute to the conservation of biodiversity.
【Activity Overview】
1. Activities related to promoting the protection of wild animals, including birds, and nature conservation.
2. Matters related to research and surveys concerning the protection of birds and other wildlife.
3. Matters related to promoting the protection of rare birds and other wildlife.
4. Matters related to recognizing the contributions of individuals and organizations involved in the protection of birds and other wildlife.

We are recruiting members to provide ongoing support for the activities of the Japan Bird Protection League. The annual membership fees paid by our members are used for various educational activities related to bird protection and conservation research, such as Bird Week, and help to stabilize our activities. Why not join us and work together to protect the future of birds?

All new members will receive membership benefits and a copy of our newsletter, “Our Nature.”

The Japan Bird Protection League works to protect birds and nature and create a society where humans and nature coexist. Preserving and protecting birds and their natural habitats requires significant funding. We ask for donations from those who support our activities. Donations will be used to train personnel to protect birds and promote conservation activities.
